THE 20 ISSUES MOST IMPORTANT TO OHIOANS

  • The high cost of food

    • Quick thoughts - maybe we should not tax the land of small family farms (250 acres and less) that grow food crops for humans and animals? Maybe no tax on acreage used for free roaming animals rather than industrial farming?

  • The high cost of healthcare

    • Quick thoughts - maybe we should allow pharmacists to prescribe some drugs? This would raise the supply of prescribing doctors and and help to depress wages and lower the cost of getting many medicines prescribed.

  • The high cost of medicine

    • Quick thoughts - maybe the State of Ohio should start its own pharmacy for medicaid patients and start purchasing drugs from Canada like Florida is currently set to do?

  • Military action with China

    • Quick thoughts - maybe the Ohio General assembly can adopt a resolution to support a South Pacific Treaty Organization that encourages Japan, Australia, South Korea, and Taiwan to ally to curb the saber rattling of China?

  • Military action with Russia

    • Quick thoughts - maybe the Ohio General assembly can adopt a resolution to encourage the President to use Reagan-era techniques to stop Russia's aggressive and violent expansion?

  • The rise of violent anti-American Movements

    • Quick thoughts -maybe Ohio needs to spend more money on undercover investigations of anti-American groups? Remove professors, educators, and curriculum that indoctrinate Ohio youths into these programs. Mobilize the Ohio National Guard more frequently. Lastly, allow and fund County Sheriffs to create Citizen Anti-Insurrection Brigades that allows Sheriffs to proactively declare an imminent threat emergency and call on these citizens to help keep the peace. Increase funds for confidential informants.

  • The rise of illegal drugs and overdose deaths

    • Quick thoughts - maybe put the death penalty on the table as the only sentence for those selling the most dangerous drugs like Fentanyl and Carfentanyl as the only sentencing option unless dealers cooperate in taking down the entire network? Stiffer sentences for users that do not cooperate with law-enforcement to pursue their dealers. Maybe more money for undercover detectives and confidential informants. Maybe place an open bounty on drug dealers. Maybe we put a 1,000% tax on illegal drugs so when we bust drug dealers asset forfeitures occur faster.

  • Human Trafficking

    • Quick thoughts - maybe we make the conviction of solicitors of prostitutes a fifth degree felony for the first conviction and a third degree felony for the second conviction? Maybe put the death penalty on the table as a mandatory sentence for pimps of children and women that are sex trafficked? For those that are trafficked for labor maybe the State imposes a fine of triple minimum wage times the amount of hours worked, revocation of all Ohio business licenses, a minimum of 1 year in jail, and a fifth degree felony?

  • High property taxes

    • Quick thoughts - maybe we eliminate property tax and place a sales tax on insurance premiums?

  • The high cost of public education and lack of school choice.

    • Quick thoughts - see my school reform policies

  • The rise of violent crime

    • Quick thoughts - Maybe make more medications and supplements available to treat mental health issues for off-label use in medicaid? Support a low-income gym membership programs. Increase penalties. Have a more robust small business incubation program in Ohio. Sponsor more faith-based initiatives.

  • The rise of activism in education

    • Quick thoughts - Maybe make it easier to fire activist teachers and prohibit un-American and divisive concepts classes and curriculum?

  • The high cost of electricity and natural gas

    • Quick thoughts - maybe re-regulate Ohio's energy grids and do away with Enron deregulations that were implemented? Maybe develop a long range business plan? Maybe repeal Ohio's Renewable Portfolio Standards?

  • Energy independence

    • Quick thoughts - I think Ohio should help to foster consortiums that will develop new nuclear technologies and Municipal Waste & Coal Plasma Gasification plants. Solar and wind are not technologies that solve any problems and their total costs are much more than other clean energy technologies.

  • The rise of Autism

    • Quick thoughts - I believe there is enough distrust of academia, federal agencies, and pharmaceutical companies that Ohio should should start its own short-term and long term studies on the relationship of Autism to vaccines and to diet and other medications.

  • The rise of mental illness in children

    • Quick thoughts - I believe that the rise in mental illness of children is linked to their environment. I believe the combination of the glorification of dark, violent, sexual and morbid television programming, violent video games, free and easily accessible online pornography, and a poor and manipulative education system drives the neurotic and dysphoric behaviors present in our youth. While it may be hard to change television programming, maybe Ohio places an additional tax on movies that are rated R and tax all forms of pornography so it is never free or easily accessible to children? Additionally, maybe we should prohibit manipulative educational practices?

  • The rise of pornography addiction and narcissism

    • Quick thoughts - We should tax pornography to make it less accessible and help children who do have an addiction to pornography to seek mental help. There is a well known link between pornography and narcissism - we should definitely consider creating a program that Ohio Internet Service Providers should follow to limit the spread of pornographic addiction.

  • K-12 and University indoctrination

    • Quick thoughts - We need to take seriously our schools and institutions of higher-learning that may discriminate against the political views held by employees or student. Maybe the state of Ohio sets up an inspector general for the public education system.

  • Growing antisemitism and hatred for Christians of European descent

    • Quick thoughts - Maybe funding should be withheld from schools that preach hate and un-American activities? Maybe Ohio should revoke the nonprofit status of nonprofits that support or unable to control their rallies or demonstrations?

  • Corrupt political parties and pay-to-play schemes

    • Quick thoughts - I truly believe that the major political parties are the foundation of their army of officeholders. When party leadership becomes corrupt I believe it is more prevalent for officeholders to become corrupt. I believe that we can create another classification of a political party that must adhere to Ohio non-profit laws, Ohio's ethics laws, Ohio sunshine laws, and Ohio's public request laws. This should help control corruption.
